"I downloaded Music_CC08_Arkansas-Logistic_vs_Backyard-Bombers.wmv but it will not play. I'm on Windows XP and Windows Media Player 11. I have tried to re-download the file but it still won't play.
We had the pleasure of having Mr. Kirby in our dugout during this game and it was a pretty big upset over Arkansas Reebok. If you could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it."

"Have you created a subscription account?
If so, did you get a month subscription or a year subscription?"

"No I didn't.....but I will.....I didn't know you had to have a subscription."

WHat else can i try?"

Hello Paul,
Sorry your having trouble so far...O.K. let's trouble shoot this thing...
1. I'm guessing that you did install the latest version of Windows Media Player right? If not, here's the link (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx)
2. When you double click on the downloaded video file, what happens? Does the Windows Media Player come up? If not, please explain what happens, if anything.
3. What OS are you using XP or Vista?

Get back with me on those questions and I will clear it up for you. Thank you,

Dizzle

I get this message "A Windows Media Digital Rights Management (DRM) component encountered a problem. If you are trying to use a file that you obtained from an online store, try going to the online store and getting the appropriate usage rights." when I try to play the wmv file.

I'm having the same trouble. The file has downloaded but it's not giving me the option to create an account to start my subscription. It gives me a Media Rights Aquistion Error when I try and play the video. Please help if you can. Thanks

Guys I hope this helps. You must have the .net framework downloaded on to your PC. It is a free software from Microsoft that allows our system to work correctly. If you do not have the .net framework on your computer nothing will work properly. First make sure that your INTERNET browser is Internet Explorer. You must be in Internet explorer for everything to work properly. Go to this link and download the .net framework first.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en

Once downloaded it will tell you that you can close Internet Explorer. Close Internet Explorer and finish the .net framework install. Then go back to the video downloads page and install the download manager. After this is done click on the account info button inside the Download Manager. This should take you to the video downloads page again. Just click on the video of your choice and it should promp you to enter your credentials to either watch the video or create a new account. If you have not created and paid for an account then you should do this. If you have paid for an account then just click the button on the left and watch away. After you do this process once you should never have to do it again on that particular PC. Its painfully to install everything but it is the only way, once its done it will be smooth sailing.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Media Player, .NET framework, SK Download manager, but the problem remains. Every file i click on in the Accounts tab downloads but i'm never prompted to log in. The files when downloaded won't play.

I'm on an XP machine, SP2, latest updates, i've disabled AV and Spyware software.

What else should i try?

When the file is completly downloaded does it ask you if you want to play it?

What happens when you double click on the file?

Does it open windows media player? if so, what does it tell you?

When the file is completely downloaded I am asked if I want to launch the downloaded file. I click yes and it goes to windows media player, then a box pops up that says:

Windows Media Player cannot play the protected file because a security upgrade is required. Do you want to download the security upgrade?

When I double click the file in the download manager it highlights blue the progress bar goes green. Nothing else.

When the file is completly downloaded does it ask you if you want to play it? Yes, i click to play, and then WM gives an error opening file.

What happens when you double click on the file? If i double click on the file in the download manager the player in the lower left corner changes for a second to reflect playing a file (i.e. slider bar highlights and the play icon changes to the pause icon). A second later it reverts back to the way it was before - a play.

Does it open windows media player? if so, what does it tell you? yes, it opens WMP, which generates the error. After you ok, nothing happens.
