Any suggestions....

I have no problem hitting the ball over our 300' fence when I get a hold of it, but I really struggle with consistency and hitting the ball square all of the time. I mainly play ASA.

jk,

I think your swing is fine. Your grip is a little strong so that might be making you roll over from time to time. Maybe try lining up your door knocking knuckles this will help you get through and spin the ball more consistently. The other thing I see is you look a little worried about weather or not you are going to hit the ball well. Stand up there with confidence and dont worry about weather you are going to hit it or not. Pretend your Derek Jeter or something when your up there, loosen up a take a good whack at it.

Thanks Scott.

I will try lining up my knuckles, Another problem I seem to have is when I face live pitching I feel like I am getting jamed. I am 6'5" with long arms and I try to stand near the edge of the box but it seems like I am having to short arm my swings to hit the sweetspot. any suggestion.

hit the ball out front more. extend your arms to get to the pitch. and also be cautious of how your feet operate. if you start off the plate but step straight into the plate, you will be jamming yourself. if you stay the course, i mean stride based on where you stand you should be fine. step where you want to hit and the rest will follow accordingly.

p.s.

im 6'6 so i had to learn this as well.

I will work on trying to step toward the pitcher. Since I am getting jammed I have a bad habit of stepping toward 3rd base and falling away from the ball so I don't get jammed, but i must be waiting to long to hit the wall. Thanks for the tips
