your thoughts on your mitts? do they respond well to the shaving cream break in? or is vaseline better? we don't have hot glove here. just franklin glove foam and oil. haven't gotten to use mine yet...just want to get other e-pinions. thanks.

edit: i need to put my ring finger and pinky in the last finger stall for a better fit on this. it is much better. i will be using this in our tourney this weekend.

another edit: used it in the tourney and it is great...i caught some shizzit for having a white glove (which still drew compliments) and wearing white tanel turfs but it was all good. love the glove. looks like i will buy another one.

IMHO I dont oil any of my gloves because dont like the leather to soften up......I just break them in by playing catch and constantly throwng a ball in the glove

i like the leather to soften up a little bit...not too much. i don't see how some folks play with the ol' floppies...the nivek leather on these feels different.

I havn't used anything on mine. It still needs some breaking in. I didn't know what to use on the white so I'm breaking it in the old fashioned way. I absolutely love the glove though.

used it in a tourney today...not fully broken in but very comfy and didn't have any problems at all. got a few compliments on it. i had reservations initially...perhaps because it's the first time i ever spent this much on a glove but it is gtg. i would have no problem buying another one (when my wallet permits)...

Mine isn't fully broken in either but the ball still sticks in it pretty well. I would say it is definetly worth the money. The batting gloves are really sweet as well.

yeah, i'd say the heel of the palm is pretty stiff still...i'll work on that. are the bg's good for bp, you think?

I've been using mine in bp when I usually use a different set for bp and the games but mine have held up fine for me and it has been a few months. It is just starting to wear down where the knob sits on my bottom hand. They have lasted longer than pretty much any other batting gloves I have had.

Thanks! We are working hard to get a full line out by next year at a more of a softball players budget!LOL! No seriously the Bass family is very serious about trying to take over the softball world in gloves, batting gloves, and other products in an effort to become more of a house hold name like Worth and Easton etc... So looking forward to the future of this great company!
