I apoligize right now for the qualitity of the video.....The sun was behind some clouds and I guess the camera didnt have enough optical light..........

Here is the videos of Nick swinging the Johnny MCcraw Plague the first round and the Bryson Baker Gear Virus the second......

In was 4 p.m. today temps were in the low 90's, humid, with storm clouds forming around us.......

We are hitting on a 285' field with about a 30 foot fence in left field.......

lol yeah my ish was weak lol. i like the bryson baker better. the plague has little more distance. the plague also was hott out of the wrapper i have a feeling the bryson baker will get to the same point. right the plague has maybe 200 hits on it and is spider webbed all over the bat. so with that being said my decision goes to the bb but you can't go wrong with either. combat got it right and has my vote for this year.:cool:

yes sir it sure is. the bat is sick,no break in period on the plague either. the bat has been nasty from swing 1.

I think I am going to give Combat a try this year. I didn't care for the Virus or Gear Virus very much. But the only ones I swung were new out of the wrapper.

Wierd how the bat standards are getting tougher and tougher but the bats seem to be geting better. If not beter at least the reviews say a lot of these new bats are hot out of the wrapper and dont need as much break in.

liked the 2005 B1s...not so much on the AV...decent bat but not what i thought it'd be. i will be trying out their new ASA bats when they come out, tho...

the plague yes hott out of the wrapper the bryson baker i got needs some time to break in. i don't think the standards for u-trip are changing. they are just making bat's now that break in fast but might not have the durability of the older bats. only time will tell though.

I really like the Og Virus but not so much the Gear. Just a bit too stiff.

I really like the Og Virus but not so much the Gear. Just a bit too stiff.

the plague reminds me of the boombah cannon if that makes any sense i never hit the og virus but i have hit the enhanced. the barrel on the plague isn't as soft but still somewhat soft. the bb gear is still a little stiff out of the wrapper but loosens up quickly. imo the og gear had a small ss which made it feel stiffer the new gear has big ss and doesn't feel as stiff. the plague will be my gamer right now because after 180-200 hit's at the most the bat has some crazy spider webbing going on. the durability on the plague is supposed to be good but who knows. if i had a couple of them i would hit one and see how many htis it lasted but with only having 1 right now im not that brave,plus the distance and pop on the plague is just nasty no reason to beat it up in bp any more. hope this helps you out some but combat has my vote this year.:cool:

I actually had a Cannon and loved it. Which is why I have so many Reaper 98's now....Swings alot like the Cannon to me also. Although it doesn't have the same insane distance
