glove size for ss

hi scott i sent you a pm i don't know if you got it but i was wondering you said you were playing ss this year i am playing softball this sence my baseball career is over i played ss my whole life but i been getting different answers on what size to use i was wondering what size and make glove you use for ss thanks

I play 3 and I wear a 12.5 and our shortstop wears a 12.5 seems to be a good size not to big and not to small. I think you would like that

i been playin middle infield for about 5 years now, and i have a 13. i would suggest you go with 12-12.5

I agree I currently use 2 gloves a 12" and a 12 3/4" and during my baseball career I used between an 11" and 11 1/2". I use the 12 most of the time because I like the fact that I can get the ball out of it quickly but there are days when I might not be picking the ball up as well or whatever and on those days I use my bigger glove.
